Sometimes you can’t help but angle for a new paint job around your home, especially if it looks like it needs one! The only problem is that paint jobs normally take many disruptive weeks out of your life. Mid South Coatings has a 10-step process that not only cuts down the time, but also provides you with a level of professionalism you can expect and count on. Here, the process as a whole is divided into four phases for easier understanding:

Phase 1: Inspection

No exterior painting company in Baton Rouge, LA, that’s worth hiring will start a job without knowing everything about the current state of your exterior. Mid South Coatings always performs a thorough inspection of your home’s exterior. We take note of any damaged sections that may need repairs prior to painting/coating. This is important because surfaces that aren’t seamless will cause the paint job or coating to look bumpy and imperfect.

Phase 2: Preparation

Using a powerful pressure-washing system, we begin preparations by cleaning your home’s exterior thoroughly. Any dirt that sticks to your exteriors will hinder the painting process and create ugly tiny bumps. We then fix up any damaged areas using our TEX-BOND® and FLEX-PATCH® products, both of which are primers designed to deal with any breaks or holes. Once we’re satisfied, we cover up any and all surfaces that aren’t to be coated—from windows to even your lawn and shrubbery—for their protection.

Phase 3: The Work

We start with COOLWALL® Smooth Primer, which will help ensure that the paint or coating will last longer. This is followed by another round of inspection to make sure that every surface is covered, the consistency is even, and it looks good. The next step is applying our TEX-COTE® COOLWALL Supercoat. This product is the real deal and one that not many an exterior painting contractor in New Orleans, LA, can offer! It comes in a range of colors that won’t fade. The last step here is to take care of your window and door trim with TRIM-COTE® to balance out the look and complete the protective cover.

Phase 4: Wrap-Up

We always end every job by making sure everything looks perfect. Then we thoroughly clean up after ourselves. We will not leave your home until you are completely satisfied.

We know how important it is to keep your home looking its best. We also know how important it is to keep it protected from the elements. With our 10-step process and our great line of coating products, you can enjoy both. Feel free to call us today—we’ll be more than happy to better explain things to you.
